Skills required
Basic computer literacy and at least an awareness of what the web is.

- Free Software: You will learn the role Free Software and Open Standards play in all aspects of the Web.
- Web principles: You will find out about the basic structure of the web, and how content can be created dynamically.
- Images: You will have an easy to remember outline of the way images work on the web.
- Firefox: You will learn where to find and how to install Add-ons for the popular Firefox web browser.
- Markdown: You will have a swift introduction to the very useful Markdown lightweight markup language.
All techniques will be taught using Free Software that will be made available free of charge to all students.
